Terms of Use

Last updated 30 October 2026

Welcome to snog! These terms are the agreement between you and the.community, which owns and runs snog.me. By making an account or using snog, you agree to them. We’ve kept them as short and plain as we can.

1. Joining snog

  • You must be at least 18 years old. If we find out a member is under 18, we delete their account.
  • Use your real date of birth, and only make one account.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.

2. The rules

snog is meant to be fun. To keep it that way, you must not:

  • bully, harass, threaten or stalk anyone, on snog or because of something on snog;
  • post hate towards anyone because of their race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or anything else about who they are;
  • post nudity, sexual pictures, violence or anything illegal;
  • upload photos of other people without their permission, or photos you don’t have the right to use;
  • pretend to be someone else, including snog staff;
  • spam, advertise, or ask members for money;
  • use bots or scripts on snog, or try to copy members’ details off the site;
  • try to break into accounts or into snog itself;
  • make a new account to get round a ban.

If someone breaks the rules, please report them from their profile or from your conversation with them. They are never told who reported them.

3. What you post

  • What you post stays yours. By posting it, you let us show it on snog so the site can work: on your profile, in the Live Feed, on interests and in messages to the people you send them to.
  • Your profile, photos and answers can be seen by other members. Your username, profile picture and answers can also appear in the Live Feed on the snog home page, which anyone can see.
  • You can delete your photos, change your profile or delete your whole account at any time.

4. Messages

Messages are private between you and the person you’re talking to. snog staff don’t read them, except when you or the other person send messages to us with a report. You choose who can message you in Settings → Messages, and you can block anyone.

5. Moderation and bans

  • snog staff can remove anything that breaks these terms, and can ban accounts for a few days or for good.
  • When you’re banned, snog tells you why and when it ends when you try to log in.
  • Think we got it wrong? Sign in to snog.support (this works while you’re banned) and send a Ban appeal.

6. Deleting your account

You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account. Your profile is hidden straight away and everything is deleted for good 14 days later. If you log in before then, your account is kept. The Privacy Policy says exactly what is deleted.

7. The snog service

  • We work hard to keep snog running and safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes.
  • We may add, change or remove features.
  • Members are responsible for what they post. We aren’t responsible for what other members say or do, but we act on reports.
  • Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law.

8. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. If it’s a big change, we’ll tell members on snog first. Carrying on using snog after a change means you accept it.
